Bedmasters opened for
business in 1994 in Port Charlotte, Florida by
Charlotte County natives and long-time residents,
Linda and Jim Mashburn. The family has
roots in south Florida for over 125 years, and has
resided in Charlotte County since 1921 (Charlotte
County was incorporated in 1921)! Along with children
Sandra and James, the Mashburns run a true family
business. Third generation "Bedmasters" are
also frequently spotted in the building!
During the past 15
years, the mattress industry has changed
drastically, but our basic principles never have:
